SOLAR STATION is an intelligent monitoring center for your photovoltaic power plant. It gives you instant access to detailed data on electricity production, consumption, battery status, and other key parameters. Thanks to its clear e-ink display, the device is extremely energy-efficient, and anyone can operate it.

Every five minutes, SOLAR STATION automatically loads data from inverter manufacturers' cloud platforms and intuitively displays it on the screen. No complicated logins or analyzing complex graphs – all the important information is always at hand at home, in the office, or for the whole family.

What is displayed on the screen?

1. Real-time data on production, battery status, household consumption, and grid usage.
2. Today's statistics – an overview of production, battery load, home consumption, and grid draw.
3. Current weather forecast, including sunrise and sunset times.
4. Real-time electricity prices on the spot market.
5. Electric vehicle charging status.
6. Detailed overview of your Tesla – charging, battery status, and range.
7. Indoor temperature and hot water status from supported heat pumps.

The display is fully dynamic – if certain data is unavailable, it will automatically hide, and the freed-up space will be efficiently used for other elements.

Is it just monitoring?

SOLAR STATION can not only passively monitor but also actively control appliances via smart plugs SOLAR PLUG. You can automate water heating, air conditioning, heating, lighting, or irrigation based on current production or electricity price trends.

Additionally, with support for the Czech wallbox EcoVolter Pro, you can charge your electric car at the most advantageous time, either from your own photovoltaics or based on spot prices.

SOLAR STATION is a proven Czech product used by thousands of households, including well-known electromobility advocate Honza Staněk (ElectroDad).

What is e-ink?

You know e-ink displays from e-readers or supermarket price tags. They have paper-like qualities – perfectly readable in direct sunlight and emit no light at night. Electrical energy is only consumed when refreshing the display, which remains unchanged until rewritten.

Due to slower refresh rates and limited updates, it's ideal for data refreshed every 5 minutes.

How long does the battery last?

In normal operation, SOLAR STATION spends most of its time in "sleep mode" and only wakes up every 5 minutes. Thanks to this, it lasts 6–12 weeks on a single charge, depending on the extent of used features.

The device is powered by a LiPo battery (2500 mAh, 3.7 V) with a USB-C charger. A full charge takes several hours (the cable is not included – we assume you already have one at home).

SOLAR STATION can also be permanently powered via cable, but in this case, it cannot be wall-mounted.

Which languages are supported?

Station setup is in English. However, the display itself supports Czech, English, German, and Polish. In practice, this mainly applies to calendar localization, as the entire user interface consists mostly of values, icons, and graphs.

What's inside?

The core of the device consists of a powerful ESP32 microcontroller and a high-quality e-ink display from GoodDisplay. The casing is 3D-printed from white PLA, but we can also produce custom versions upon request.

What if the manufacturer's API changes? Will it still work?

Thanks to automatic firmware updates, your SOLAR STATION will always stay up to date. If a change occurs, we will adjust the firmware, and the device will download the new version on its own.

SOLAR STATION, two wall mounts with 3M tape, and a stand. We do not include a printed manual – you can find guides and the latest documentation on our website.

Which variant should I choose?

The smaller model fits perfectly on a shelf, while the larger version is ideal for wall mounting – easy to read even from a distance.
